Telling Stories With Art

My Journey
In my childhood years I always felt at home with a pencil in my hand. I would trace pictures from wildlife coloring books and try my best to replicate calendar photos with limited success. After getting distracted by sports in my teenage years, I started digging deeper into art, spending a lot of time honing my skills with a pencil, mainly focusing on landscape drawings. I also started hunting more and by my early twenty's, hunting took over the time I had previously spent on sports. I became extremely passionate about hunting whitetails and learning more about the tendencies of mature whitetail bucks. I wanted to use my art to help document and tell stories inspired by my experiences and the knowledge I gathered while hunting and observing these majestic creatures. Feeling limited with a pencil, I started using oil paints to bring color into the scenes. After multiple years and hundreds of hours spent honing my skills, I can finally present to you, my attempts at telling stories with art.
